Precision Ground Cobalt drill bits are stronger and harder than Titanium bits but are more brittle and should be handled with care. Cobalt drill bits can drill at much higher temperatures while maintaining sharpness. It can therefore be used to drill stainless steel and other hard materials.
The 135° angle of the cutting point is ideal for drilling steel and other tougher materials. The split point prevents the drill from wandering or running off the starting point.
