Description
The most common application for building sand is to use it as a filler, or it is mixed with water and cement to produce mortar for the laying of blocks and bricks. This sand is quarried from deep pits and is typically red or yellow in colour.
Building sand (also known as pit sand/bricklayer’s sand/soft sand) is a versatile type of sand that is mostly used in construction/concreting. This type of sand is usually finer in texture (yet still coarse) and is generally soft, hence the name “soft sand”.

The IBR Profile (Inverted Box Rib) is one of the most popular profiles used for roofing and side cladding applications in the industrial, commercial and residential building industry. The bold angular appearance of this particular profile makes it a very attractive choice for industrial and domestic solutions. Its many advantageous characteristics such as its strength to weight ratio, that provide optimum load span consistency, and the broad flutes that ensures excellent drainage, makes this a popular choice for roofing contractors.
